Ledger recently launched its new touchscreen hardware wallet, the Ledger Flex, alongside the previously introduced Ledger Stax. Both devices are equipped with E Ink touchscreens, NFC capabilities, and offer a more intuitive interface while maintaining Ledger's renowned security standards. The CEO, Pascal Gauthier, emphasised that the security of these wallets is ensured through three key components: a secure element chip for private key storage, a secure operating system, and a secure screen powered by the secure element chip, making these the only wallets with such a secure touchscreen​ .The Ledger Flex and Stax also introduce the Ledger Security Key feature, enabling passwordless and two-factor authentication (2FA) logins across platforms using the open FIDO2 standard, compatible with major services like Google, Amazon, Binance, and Coinbase. The Flex is priced at $249, significantly less than the Stax, which costs $399. Both products are available on the Ledger website and at Best Buy stores in the U.S.​
