Japanese Companies Won't Pay Taxes on Cryptocurrency Holdings Starting in 2024

Japan's government decided that starting in April 2024, Japanese companies won't have to pay taxes on the money they make from cryptocurrencies they own but haven't sold yet. This decision is part of their tax reform for 2024. The proposal will be discussed in January and needs approval from both parts of Japan's parliament.
