Google Integrates ENS Data: Ethereum Balances Now Visible in Search Results

Google has recently integrated Ethereum Name Service (ENS) data into its search results, leveraging information collected from Etherscan, the Ethereum block explorer. This update allows users to view address particulars, including Ether balances and the time of the latest transactions, directly within Google search results. The integration was noticed by Brantly Millegan, a former ENS core team member, who shared the news on social media platforms. This move reflects Google's continued involvement in the cryptocurrency and blockchain space, following its introduction of native support for Ethereum wallet balances back in May 2023. ENS enables the use of human-readable addresses on the internet, akin to domain names for websites, making it easier for users to share and access Ethereum wallet addresses.
