BlackRock Pursues Approval for Bitcoin Investment Option

The big investment company, BlackRock, really wants the government's approval to start something called a Bitcoin spot ETF. Their CEO, Larry Fink, thinks Bitcoin is a valuable global asset and could be a long-term way to store value, kind of like gold.

BlackRock has already had five meetings with the people in charge of giving the green light for this, the SEC. They had their latest meeting just recently, on a Tuesday. This shows that BlackRock is working hard to make it possible for regular folks to invest in Bitcoin through their ETF.
