Bitcoin Scam Wars: MicroStrategy's Michael Saylor Battles AI Deep-Fake Deception on YouTube

Michael Saylor, the executive chairman of MicroStrategy, has sounded the alarm over a surge in sophisticated Bitcoin scams utilising AI-generated deep-fake videos on YouTube. These fraudulent videos feature Saylor falsely endorsing barcode scanning schemes, posing a significant risk of misleading viewers and potential investors. MicroStrategy is actively combatting this cybercrime wave, working diligently to identify and remove around 80 deceptive videos from the platform daily. In response to this threat, Saylor has issued a stern warning to the crypto community, urging caution and emphasising the importance of verifying the legitimacy of any cryptocurrency-related offers encountered. He has reiterated that MicroStrategy does not participate in Bitcoin giveaways, a common tactic used in digital currency scams.
