Bitcoin Driving Bull Run: Experts Discuss Halving Impact and Regulatory Clarity at NBX Warsaw

At the Next Block Expo in Warsaw, industry experts discussed the current cryptocurrency market trends, emphasising Bitcoin's pivotal role in driving the bull run. Adrian Zduńczyk, founder of The Birb Nest trading education platform, noted historical data from previous halving events suggesting significant upside potential for Bitcoin into 2025, citing past price appreciations of 9,000%, 3,000%, and 700% after the halvings in 2013, 2017, and 2021, respectively. Ben Yorke, ecosystem vice president at WooX exchange platform, highlighted the regulatory clarity surrounding Bitcoin, particularly with the approval of Bitcoin ETFs in the U.S. and Hong Kong, making it more appealing to global investors. The proliferation of the Lightning network and other functionalities for maintaining full custody of BTC was noted as nullifying criticisms of Bitcoin's utility. Additionally, the development of infrastructure to enhance Bitcoin's usability for payments was identified as another driver of capital inflow into the ecosystem.
