Bitcoin Core Rejects Proposal to Tackle NFT Spam: Inscriptions Remain a Challenge

In September, Bitcoin Core developer Luke Dashjr proposed an update to the Bitcoin Core software to block non-fungible token (NFT) spam by improving data-carrying styles. However, another Bitcoin Core maintainer, Gloria Zhao, argued against it, stating that it's challenging to detect all embedded data, leading to the rejection of Dashjr's proposal.
