Binance, the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange, has introduced an Inscriptions Marketplace within its Binance Web3 Wallet, offering users the ability to inscribe and trade inscriptions, including Bitcoin BRC-20 tokens like ORDI. The marketplace aims to provide accessibility and convenience for both BRC-20 enthusiasts and newcomers to Web3, enhancing the user experience in the decentralised web. BRC-20 tokens operate on the Bitcoin blockchain and differ from Ethereum's ERC-20 tokens as they use Ordinals inscriptions, allowing data to be inscribed on individual satoshis, the smallest Bitcoin denomination. Binance's support for this innovative token standard aligns with other platforms like OKX. ORDI, the leading BRC-20 token by market cap, is currently ranked 57th and trades at $57.97, as per CoinMarketCap data.
