Binance Shatters Records: $1.12 Trillion Spot Trading Volume in March

Binance, one of the leading cryptocurrency exchanges, experienced a significant surge in spot trading volume in March, reaching a yearly high of $1.12 trillion according to a report from CCData. This represents a remarkable 121% increase compared to the previous month, marking seven consecutive months of growth. Additionally, Binance's market share rose by 1.04% to 44.1% during the same period. The exchange's recovery following its settlement with the United States Department of Justice and the payment of a $4.3 billion fine is evident, particularly in its derivatives trading volumes, which soared by 89.7% to $2.91 trillion, hitting their highest levels since May 2021.
