In a historic move for Argentina, a rental agreement denominated in Bitcoin was recorded in Rosario, the country's third-largest city, on January 11, 2024. According to local reports, the contract outlines that the tenant will pay the landlord the equivalent of $100 in Bitcoin each month, with Fiwind, a national cryptocurrency exchange, facilitating the exchange rate determination and payment execution.
