Adidas and Stepn Forge NFT Sneaker Partnership, Unveil Stepn x Adidas Genesis Collection

Adidas has collaborated with Stepn to introduce a limited-edition NFT sneaker collection called Stepn x Adidas Genesis Sneakers. This collection, inspired by Adidas running designs, consists of 1,000 digital items and marks the beginning of a year-long partnership between the two companies, including future NFT drops and physical wearables. The collection will be available on Stepn's sister marketplace, Mooar, with a two-phase raffle starting Wednesday. Each NFT will be priced in Stepn's GMT tokens and will be based on the Solana blockchain. This move signifies Adidas' deeper involvement in the NFT space, following previous collaborations such as the one with Prada in 2022. Stepn, aiming to incentivize exercise through rewards, has accumulated 5 million registered users and sees this collaboration as a step towards growing the "move-to-earn" market. Despite recent declines in NFT trading and minting activity, Adidas and Stepn are pushing forward with their digital and physical partnership.
